Thank you for your interest in Aaron Academy.
Our admissions process does not follow the traditional routine of application review and student intake interview. In keeping with our values of integrated learning and acquisition of meaningful knowledge, following the application review process, we may include some or all of the following as part of our admissions process:
- visit to the applicant's current school setting
- interview with the applicant's parent or guardian
- visit to Aaron Academy by the parent/guardian
- visit to a class at Aaron Academy by the applicant
- interviews with applicant's current teacher, principal and/or guidance counselor
- interviews with applicant's current related service providers and/or therapists
We seek authentic information about each applicant so that we can make the most informed decision possible.
It is also very important to us that parents and guardians are involved in learning about the research and theory that drives our approach to adolescent education. We encourage you to attend an Open House session in order to learn more about our program, methodologies, and pedagogy.
Tuition information as well as resources regarding tuition reimbursement is also available on our website. Aaron Academy is committed to helping families who choose to pursue tuition reimbursement. We will speak on behalf of students when necessary and provide any paperwork that is needed. The tuition for the 2010-2011 school year is $47,775.
We look forward to working with you throughout the admissions process. If you should have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at 212-867-5443 x321 or via email at admissions@aaronacad.org.
