Student C.O.R.E. - commitment, ownership, resolution, education

Our students are committed to their learning, to individual and program goals, and to being a contributing member of the Aaron Academy.

Our students will take ownership of their learning and actions and will be accountable for making responsible choices.

Our students will resolve to become self aware and continue to expand on their individual strengths. They will resolve to understand individual differences and establish healthy relationships with their peers.

Our students will be taught new skills and strategies that will help them navigate world experiences. They will be educated in mind and body towards becoming a capable and independent young adult.




Staff C.O.R.E.- collaboration, organization, respect, education

Our staff will collaborate with each other, students, parents and stakeholders to insure a cohesive instructional environment. They will value diversity and embrace multiple points of view.

Our staff will model mature skills and provide an organizational structure that will create a trusting, safe and welcoming environment and engage students in learning.

Our staff will demonstrate respect for each other and students by creating a community that inspires and motivates. They will value diversity, talents and individual strengths.

Our staff will use effective instructional techniques in the educational environment and have a deep knowledge of the curriculum. They will act as models of lifelong learning by increasing their knowledge and learning from each other.




Parent C.O.R.E. - celebrate, opportunity, responsibility, education

Our parents celebrate their student's effort towards success and independence, their own contributions to the CORE Team, and the commitment to growth and development in academic and social domains.

Our parents support the opportunity for self-expression and social growth, for expanding the school experience beyond the classroom, encourage leadership, and collaborate with the CORE Team.

Our parents are committed to encouraging responsibility at home and at school by helping to develop work ethics, communicating with CORE Team members, insuring rest and nutritional needs and working as part of the CORE Team towards increased accountability for learning.
