Parents
Collaboration with parents and families is an important value of Aaron Academy. Our goal is to extend student learning beyond the classroom, into the community and the home. Parent participation and guidance are vital to this process. Upon initial enrollment, Aaron Academy parents have the opportunity to learn about our methodologies and pedagogy so they can best support their children.
We encourage parents to contribute to the school by volunteering time, as well as by contributing in their field of expertise or professional experience. Parents of current students also serve as representatives of the school during the admissions process, and provide support to and answer questions from families who are engaged in the applying to Aaron Academy.
We are fortunate to have established a small group of dedicated and engaged parents with our inaugural class. This group engages in-coming parents who act as representatives on each of our governing committees. Parents are valued participants on the Curriculum, Admissions, Building, Technology, Accreditation and Incorporation, Class Liaison, Advocacy committees.
Our Each1, Reach1 campaign, which generates professional, programmatic and student resources exemplifies our committment to parents as partners. For more information on this campaign please contact: srosenblum@aaronacad.org
